TransPennine Express announces partnership with the Good Business Festival
TransPennine Express (TPE) has underlined its commitment to supporting the economy after announcing a new partnership with The Good Business Festival.
The event, the world’s largest responsible business festival, is set to take place between 22 – 24 March 2022 in Liverpool and is aimed at exploring the potential of business to improve lives, deliver meaningful change and realise a purpose beyond profit.
TPE provides regular services into Liverpool from across the North and Scotland and the rail operator is encouraging festival goers to use its network to attend the event. TPE’s new Nova trains include free Wi-Fi, plug sockets at every seat, and a free entertainment system, Exstream, which allows customers to stream a host of movies and TV series straight to their mobile devices or laptops.

“We are fully aware of the key role we play in supporting the economy of the North and Scotland through leisure travel and commuting, and are committed to utilising responsible business practices to deliver the best possible rail service for our customers.

“We welcome the partnership with TransPennine Express which is helping us bring people together through the three-day festival programme in March, along with showcase Greater Good events before then in Sefton, St Helens, Halton, Wirral, Liverpool city centre and Knowsley.”
The Good Business Festival focuses on uniting businesses, society, and consumers in a collective effort to use corporate responsibility to tackle the biggest challenges facing the world. In keeping with this ethos TPE has signed up to the Science Based Target initiative and continues to work towards improve diversity and inclusion in workplace, as well as supporting the communities it serves though charitable initiatives.
