Seasons Eatings: TPE customers can enjoy a festive feast as train operator launches Christmas menu
From a breakfast brioche bun with pigs in blankets to a full turkey dinner or vegan nutless roast, there is something for everyone to enjoy onboard TransPennine Express during the holiday season as the train operator launches its new festive menu.
Bucks Fizz and mince pies are also on the table to make sure customers have a cracking Christmas.
And passengers can warm up with a hot chocolate, made along TPE’s route across the Lake District by Farrer’s, who also provide tea and coffee onboard.
West Coast Kitchen is available for customers travelling First Class between Manchester or Liverpool to Edinburgh or Glasgow along the West Coast while TPE’s Express Plus Menu can be found on the rest of the train operator’s services.
Andrew McClements, Customer Experience & Transformation Director at TransPennine Express, said: “Yule not want to miss out on our Christmas menu which offers festive favourites and nourishing dishes as well as tasty snacks.
"We have worked hard to improve our catering offering, particularly in First Class, to bring our customers an experience in line with what they expect and deserve when travelling on a premium service."
TPE’s festive menu will be available until Sunday 5 January 2025.
