TransPennine Express (TPE) is advising customers that they cannot travel between Manchester and Sheffield from 6pm on Thursday 8 January until Saturday 10 January, as the railway line will be closed ahead of Storm Goretti, which is forecast to bring heavy snowfall across the North of England and Scotland.

TransPennine Express (TPE) is urging customers to only travel if absolutely necessary between Manchester/Liverpool and Glasgow/Edinburgh, or on services between York, Newcastle, and Edinburgh due to the expected gale-force winds from Storm Amy.

TransPennine Express (TPE) has warned customers not to travel tomorrow (Monday 4 August) as due Storm Floris some services will not be running.

TransPennine Express is calling on customers not to travel on its services heading to and from Scotland on the West Coast Mainline after a tree fell onto the tracks earlier this morning.

TransPennine Express (TPE) is urging customers not to travel until after midday on Wednesday 1 January as persistent heavy rain has caused flooding on several routes - primarily in the north west.

TransPennine Express (TPE) is giving customers the option to change their travel plans over the weekend as the train operator has been forced to cancel services running north of Carlisle due to Storm Bert tomorrow (Saturday 23 November).  

TransPennine Express customers will be able to use tickets bought for this evening or tomorrow on Wednesday instead if they wish to change their travel plans as snow and ice are forecast in the North of England and Scotland.
