TransPennine Express (TPE) is urging customers not to travel on the following routes today (5 January): Manchester Airport - Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Preston and Manchester Airport - Leeds - York and Newcastle.
 

TransPennine Express (TPE) is urging customers not to travel until after midday on Wednesday 1 January as persistent heavy rain has caused flooding on several routes - primarily in the north west.

TransPennine Express (TPE) is giving customers the option to change their travel plans over the weekend as the train operator has been forced to cancel services running north of Carlisle due to Storm Bert tomorrow (Saturday 23 November).  

TransPennine Express customers will be able to use tickets bought for this evening or tomorrow on Wednesday instead if they wish to change their travel plans as snow and ice are forecast in the North of England and Scotland.
