TransPennine Express (TPE) is shining a light on colleagues who keep people informed and on the move, with rail travel across the North being transformed.

TransPennine Express (TPE), Network Rail, and Friends of Dewsbury Station joined forces to celebrate the station’s 175^th anniversary.

Rail operator TransPennine Express (TPE) is advising customers across the North and into Scotland to plan ahead with major engineering work by Network Rail planned to take place after Christmas into the New Year.

• The first major multichannel campaign to promote Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) benefits launched today
• The ‘On Track to Better’ campaign aims to communicate the benefits of TRU and the multi-billion-pound programme of improvements which will transform the railway between York, Leeds, Huddersfield and Manchester
• At the heart of the campaign is a stop motion animation advert that highlights the scheme benefits, voiced by actor John Thompson and directed by Tom O’Meara, an award-winning animation director

Children travelling through Huddersfield station will now be able to post their letters and Christmas wishes to Santa via a specially installed post-box.

TransPennine Express (TPE) is set to increase services between Edinburgh and Newcastle this month, as well as improving connectivity for communities in East Lothian, the Scottish Borders and Northumberland.
